I had already told Sanya-san, and also Ellelaura-san and Shia during the meal with them, that I would be leaving, so I went to tell Ghazal-san and Rikka-san that I was leaving and the results of Fina's dismantling event.
I was also curious about Fina's dismantling tools, so I wanted to check them out.
"Is that so?" (Yuna)
When I asked them about the dismantling tools Fina had, he told me about it.
Apparently, blacksmiths made the dismantling tools for the event at the request of the Adventurer's Guild every year. The shape and type of dismantling tools had not changed over the years, and it seemed that there was a mark on the bottom of the piece of wood that you hold with your hand, so you could easily recognize it.
The reason he kept quiet was that he had heard that it belonged to his late father, so he thought it would be pitiful to remind him of his past, so he didn't tell her.
Apparently, he was planning to talk later when the timing was right.
However, he said that he never expected that Fina would be selected for the fighting spirit award and received dismantling tools.
After hearing about the dismanlting tools from Ghazal-san, he took care of the maintenance of the Kumayuru Knife and Kumakyu Knife, and while he was doing so, he spent time chatting with Rikka-san.
I was glad Rikka-san looked happy too.
Then, I said goodbye to everyone and stood in front of bear transfer gate.
"Did you forget anything?" (Yuna)
"It's fine." (Tirumina)
"Yeah, me too." (Fina)
"It's okay~" (Shuri)
Tirumina-san and Fina checked what they had, and Shuri raised her hands to let us know that it was okay.
I returned to Crimonia today.
Well, even if they forget something, they could use the bear transfer gate and come back right away, but just made sure.
"Then I'll use bear transfer gate to return to Crimonia, but this gate is a secret." (Yuna)
"Yeah, I know." (Tirumina)
I opened the bear transfer gate. Beyond that was inside Crimonia's bear house. I passed through the bear's teleportation gate and returned to the bear house in Crimonia.
"It's really strange. This is Yuna-chan's house from Crimonia." (Tirumina)
Tirmina-san passed through the bear transfer gate with a curious look on her face, followed by Fina and Shuri.
"Thank you, Yuna-chan. It was fun. And I got to see my daughter's success." (Tirumina)
"I felt bad for Gentz-san though." (Yuna)
Gentz-san was unable to see Fina in action. Maybe he would be disappointed if he heard the story.
"Hehe, that's right. I'll have to keep myself in a good mood when I get back. Both of you should cooperate." (Tirumina)
""Yeah"" (Fina + Shuri)
When Tirumina-san asked Fina and Shuri for a favor, they both responded.
If they both were nice to Gentz-san, he would soon be in a better mood.
My father wasn't kind, but I hearD that their father was kind to their daughters, and it seemed that Gentz-san was also kind to his daughters. Although they were not related by blood, maybe he thought of them as her daughter.
Well, my father just wasn't interested in his daughter.
Tirumina-san and the others said their thanks and left the bear house.
When the door closed, the house became silent. For the past few days, I had been constantly hearing the voices of Fina, Shuri, and Tirumina-san. So, when they were gone and it was quiet, I felt lonely. I summoned Kumayuru and Kumakyu.
""Kuu~n"" (Kuma-kuma)
As if sensing my feelings, Kumayuru and Kumakyu came closer to me. I then patted Kumayuru and Kumakyu.
Kumayuru and Kumakyu were my family.
Two days later, Fina came to my house and told me about it. Gentz-san was lonely, and as soon as they came home, he hugged them.
And when Tirumina-san saw the devastation of the house, she got angry.
Apparently, even though they had been away from home for only a few days, the room was a mess with trash, the dishes were not washed, and the laundry had not been done, and Tirumina-san's lightning struck him.
Come to think of it, I remember hearing that even before he got married to Tirumina-san, he hadn't made any preparations for moving and it was difficult for him to move.
Gentz-san could work, but it seemed like he couldn't take care of the house.
So, she happily told me that the day after we returned from the capital, he would spend the entire day cleaning the house.
"Good job" (Yuna)
Then, while eating tea and sweets, she told me that she asked Gentz-san about the dismantling tools she received at the event.
Gentz-san said he knew. When he found out that Fina's deceased father had participated, he was timid and kept quiet because he would be in trouble if she couldn't show her true strength.
It was true that if Fina knew that her father was participating, she might not have been able to show her true power she had.
Tirumina-san heard the story and asked, "In that case, you could have told me too. What were you planning to do if I told you?" But at the time, Tirumina-san didn't seem interested. Even when Fina talked about the event, Gentz-san didn't seem to be paying attention because he thought she had forgotten about it.
Well, Tirumina-san didn't actually remember, so Gentz-san was right about this.
"But mom said that the reason why my dad remained silent was that he didn't say anything because she was frustrated at losing to his late father." (Fina)
That was quite possible too.
Even more so if she lost.
And today, Gentz-san was going to work, and Tirmina-san and Shuri were going to the orphanage and the store.
"Was it a good thing that Fina didn’t go with me?" (Yuna)
"I thought Yuna-onee-chan would be okay." (Fina)
Unexpected words came out.
"Me? I'm fine. There's nothing to worry about." (Yuna)
"When we left, you looked a little sad." (Fina)
At that time, I might have certainly looked lonely. But maybe it was after the three of them left that I felt lonely. Maybe it was already visible on my face when I saw the three of them off.
But I didn't think that Fina was aware of my feelings.
"Thank you for worrying about me. I'm fine now." (Yuna)
Two days had passed and Kumayuru and Kumakyu were there, so I didn't feel lonely anymore.
Also, Fina came to my house.
"And then. Yuna-onee-chan..." (Fina)
Fina and I didn't really do anything, so we just spent the day relaxing and chatting.
The next day, I showed up at various places.
When I went to the orphanage, I saw children who were already used to taking care of Kokekko. I remembered being so fearful and caring for them at first. Liz was also giving instructions to the children.
Tirmina-san was checking the eggs she had collected. Next to them, Shuri and Fina were also seen. After a quick morning greeting, I entered the building. Inside the building, the director and Neaf-san were taking care of the children.
When they both noticed me, they smiled at me.
When I asked her if she had any problems, the director answered that she had never had any problems. I got the same words from Neaf-san, so it seemed like she was not lying or holding back.
Next, I head to bear relaxing bakery.
The store was full of customers and children were working hard. In the beginning, we were working in an unfamiliar manner, but now they were thinking and moving on their own before receiving instructions from Karin.
If you went to the kitchen, you would see that the children were thinking on their own, determining what was selling well and what bread was likely to sell out, and making the bread with Morin-san's permission.
Morin-san made the final decision, but the children also thought carefully and gave their opinions.
When I looked at it again, I felt that the children had grown up as well.
On the way home, I received some bread from Morin-san, and then headed to Anzu's shop.
When I looked inside the store, I saw customers eating grilled fish, rice balls, seafood hotpot, and other dishes that Anzu had made.
Inside the store, Seno-san was busy moving around.
I was thinking of going to eat for a bit, but it seemed like it would get in the way.
"Yuna-chan?" (Seno)
Seno-san noticed me peeking out of the window and stuck her head out of the window.
"Did you come to eat?" (Seno)
"I was planning on doing that, but it seems like it's crowded, so I'll do it next time." (Yuna)
"Hehe, what are you talking about? It's not like Yuna-chan can't eat at this restaurant. Come in." (Seno)
Seno-san came out of the store and grabbed my hand. Then, she pulled me into the store and sat me down at an empty seat.
I decided to accept Seno-san's goodwill and had some food.
"So, what do you want to eat?" (Seno)
"Then I’d like some seafood hotpot for the first time in a while." (Yuna)
When I saw a customer eating seafood hotpot, I wanted to try it.
"Understood. Anzu! Urgent, one serving of seafood hotpot, please." (Seno)
Seno-san shouted towards the kitchen.
"Seno-san, what do you mean by urgent! There is an order in which you can make things." (Anzu)
"That's because our employer, Yuna-chan, ordered it." (Seno)
"Please say that first. Yuna-san, I'll make it as soon as possible, so please wait." (Anzu)
Anzu's voice could be heard from the kitchen.
"I'm not in a hurry, so you can take your time." (Yuna)
If they didn't make the items in the order in which they were ordered, they would cause resentment from other customers.
After waiting for a while, Anzu brought a steaming seafood pot with rice.
"Today, I made it with fresh seafood brought in from the town of Mileela." (Anzu)
"This is also thanks to Yuna-chan." (Seno)
"Yeah, it's thanks to Yuna-chan that I can eat the food from my hometown even though I'm far away from Crimonia." ()
"And it’s also fun to work with." ()
Not only Anzu and Seno-san, but Forne-san and Petr-san from Mileela also nodded.
I was glad that Neaf-san, who was at the orphanage, came to Crimonia and seemed to be enjoying his work.
And the seafood hotpot I ate for the first time in a while was delicious. I said thank you and left the store.
I left the store and headed to Noa's house because I had something to deliver.
"Yuna-san!" (Noa)
Noa welcomed me with a smile.
"I heard. You went to the royal capital with Fina, right?" (Noa)
I didn't know where she heard it, but it seemed like it was in Noa's ears.
"I wanted to go with you too." (Noa)
"Let's go together next time." (Yuna)
It might have been a good idea to let Ellelaura-san and Shia meet for the first time in a while.
In that case, I was worried about what to do with the bear transfer gate. Maybe Noa would keep quiet.
"It is a promise" (Noa)
Noa smiled broadly.
Someday, it might be a good idea to tell her about the bear transfer gate and go out with her.
"So, what happened today?" (Noa)
"I received a letter from Elerora-san and Shia." (Yuna)
After eating Fina's celebratory food, the two of them left it in their care.
"Is it from mother and sister?" (Noa)
Noah seemed happy to hear my words.
Noah read Ellelaura-san's and Shia's letter and seemed a little sad, perhaps because she missed them.
I summoned Kumayuru and Kumakyu to stay with is until I returned home.
Then, I came back to the bear house, ate the bread I got from the bear relaxing shop, took a bath, and slept snuggly with the bear.
It was a peaceful day.
I hoped days like this last forever.
