"56! It's 56!"
"I got it!"
"Me too!!"
A man who seemed to be the head of a noble family and a girl around 15 to 16 years old jumped out to the front, each holding up a card.
...No, you don't have to rush, the prize won't slip away...
"A wooden box of sake!"
"A tailoring ticket for a dress!"
Ah, yeah. At the New Continent, I sold alcohol on a large scale, but here I hardly sold it. It was well known that I didn't drink much except for aperitifs or a little wine, so it was unnatural for my friends to send me lots of alcohol. When was at Adelaide-chan's party or Bozes family's house, I told them it was sent it to me.
...Well, there are probably very few people who believe that these days...
Anyway, that was why a total of 12 bottles of whiskey, brandy, and rum must be quite rare for a drinker. If it were to be served at a party, it seemed that even high-ranking nobles and royalty might accept the invitation.
...Well, socially speaking, it was a "very powerful weapon."
But if they were this happy, they would probably drink it all themself. It didn't seem like they had any intention of spending it all at once at a party.
It was also explained that the tailoring ticket was made using fabrics and techniques from my home country, not this country. Well, as a girl who had just debuted in the social world, she wanted a dress made with the technical skills of Archpriestess-sama's home country...
Actually, not only was I wearing it, but I had already give it to Sabine-chan and Beatrice-chan as a gift and shown it off at another party, with the hint that it was a dress made in my home country...
Of course, it was created by store manager kifujin. It caught the attention of everyone at the party, yes. In this world, there were innovative designs, impossibly wonderful materials, and a large number of precious stones (artificial gemstones) used in abundance. Most of my dresses were nice but simple so they wouldn't stand out too much. However, the dresses for Sabine-chan and Beatrice-chan were made without restraint. The store manager...
…Yeah, I guess that would be appealing…
And in fact, what Sabi-Colé duo and Beatrice-chan were wearing today was the same "Archpriestess-sama's dresses made in her home country." Of course, this was also the work of store manager kifujin. This was a new dress that was unveiled for the first time today. These three people knew about my transfer ability and about Japan, so they went directly to Japan and had the store manager take measurements without any tricks. ...The store manager was so excited that almost had a nosebleed.
Everyone was told that Japan was a "Far away country, far away on the ocean," and I didn't tell them that Japan was in another world. I felt like Sabine-chan would find out soon... During her three months study in Japan, she probably obtained information that was not under my control, from friends, TV, and various other channels...
Well, it was impossible to travel between my home country, Japan, and this country without a special ship from my home country, so whether it was across the ocean or in a different world, it was the same thing.
Even though it was for children, I explained to the store manager explained that it was for a high-ranking nobility or royalty, so no expense was spared and the best materials and craftsmanship were used.
The moment the King, the Minister of Finance, and the Marquis of Bozes saw the finished dress, they all wondered kept asking me "Are you sure that's a reasonable price?"
Well, maybe they thought it was a real jewel since it was sewn on.
...No, it's definitely real. It's just that it was created by human hands, not God. I think I'll sew lots of artificial jewels onto her dress too. When handing it over, they need to have people on the left, right, and behind in case they faint
Then, one after another, the numbers lined up and people won bingo.
When multiple bingo players appeared at the same time, the players were asked to grab the ping pong balls from the box and select the prize from the player with the highest number. Of course, this had nothing to do with the lottery, so the drawn ping pong balls were returned to the box. If that number was a lottery number, the people who won bingo would scream, but I didn't know though...
In the meantime, there were finally three prizes left...two of which were turtle brush scrubbers. I added an extra scrubbing brush to compensate for the one less prize. And while everyone watched with bated breath, Sabine-chan grabbed a ping pong ball...
"63! It's 63!" (Sabine)
"Uoooooo~!!" (Everyone)
"I got it! I got it!"
"Me too!"
"Me too!"
"M-me too..."
Surprisingly, four people ended up got bingo.
...No, well, it was around the time when everyone had multiple points, so it was something like this. I wouldn't be surprised if there were more.
Then, all four of them grabbed ping pong balls from the box and handed them out at once on a signal.
"Yay!!"
"Aaaaahh~!" (x3)
One cry of joy and three cries of pain filled with despair.
No wonder. There was only one other decent prize left, and the others were two turtle brush scrubbers. Of course, anyone other than the person who came in first was going to be disappointed.
And, unsurprisingly, the number one choice was not the scrubbing brush.
After handing it over, I then handed the turtle brush scrubbers to the people who were number two and number three...
"The supplementary prize for the scrubber is the best knife from my home country... no, it's Nyaifu! The other person is also in 28th place in the same row, so I'll give you same thing..." (Mitsuha)
"Whaaat?!" (x4)
All four people playing bingo at the same time, including the person who picked the first ping-pong ball game and the one who didn't choose the Turtle Scrubber...the assortment of sweets...or, no, the other guests were also shouting out loud as well.
In my home country, I had already promoted the quality of knives such as Gerber and Swiss Army knives by presenting them to kings and selling them at high prices to nobles.
It seemed that Marquis Bozes also took pride in showing off the gift I gave him when we first met.
...Really, why do men like knives so much?
So, when I handed them over, I said, "Knives made in my home country." And now, I said, "The best knife in my home country"...no, it's Nyaifu. ...This wasn't a joke, it was the official product name, Nyaifu. The cat's silhouette and footprints were laser engraved.
Anyway, that was what I said, so it was better than the previous one.
Yeah, sorry to the person who chose the assortment of sweets, tooo baaad!
A woman and a girl were among the four people playing bingo at the same time. Therefore, they should have had the option of choosing the scrubbing brush themself and leaving the assortment of sweets to someone else.
It didn't matter if it was jewelry or alcohol, but it was sweets...
Apparently, they weren't the "hero", huh.
"With this, the bingo tournament is over! Everyone, please continue to enjoy the conversation!" (Mitsuha)
Yes, I also had to promote the products of Yamano territory (my home) and conduct business negotiations.
Among the guests, they were doing all sorts of things, those who won at bingo talked with the people around them about the prizes they had received, some others scattered around the table games and cooking area, or accompanied their children back to the large playground equipment.
Well, we had a little business talk, and then we had to prepare for the next performance...
Author's Note
"80k Gold" has finally reached its 400th chapter! (^^)/
Eight years have passed since the first episode was posted on November 2, 2015.
There's a one-year hiatus in between, so the actual writing period is seven years.
The reason why there are 400 episodes is because the "first season" was updated every day before it went on hiatus.
Along with "Potion", which started serialization on November 3, 2015, one day later, the two works were updated daily.
And I responded to all the feedback I received. (^^ゞ
...All good children should never imitate.
I can't do anything else, I'm writing novels even in my dreams, and my body is breaking down. (^^)/
8 years.
Thanks to all of you, our readers, and many other people, we were able to make it into a book, a comic, and our dream of becoming an anime.
Thank you very much!
And thank you for your continued support of this work! (^^)/
