Today Fina was taking me out of the house.
When I was lazing around in my room, someone told me, "You're going to gain weight like a bear."
Bears were definitely not fat. They were just big.
Kumayuru and Kumakyu were also crying out "Kuu~n" as if denying it.
However, as Fina said, lounging around in your room was not good for your health.
It was annoying, but I couldn't go against Fina, so I ended up taking a walk around town with Fina.
"By the way, Sherry was working as a stuffed animal repair shop in the plaza, did Fina know?" (Yuna)
"Is it Sherry-chan's repair shop for stuffed animals? I knew that because I heard about it from my mom. And I've brought her lunch a few times at her request." (Fina)
"That's right. You could have told me." (Yuna)
"Because Sherry-chan told me, 'It's embarrassing, so everyone should keep quiet.'" (Fina)
Fina looked apologetic.
If so, I guessed it couldn't be helped.
If someone asked me to do something, Fina's personality wouldn't allow me to say no. Above all, Fina was a child who kept her promises. She also protected my secrets.
So I wouldn't question her.
"Fina is kind." (Yuna)
When I said it kindly, she looked embarrassed.
Fina and I walked randomly around town.
"Huh? Yuna-onee-chan. Is that person over there Deiga-san?" (Fina)
As we were walking, Fina pointed ahead.
Fina pointed to a large, muscular man with a potbellied body, looking at a certain restaurant from outside.
"That's right. That's Deiga-san." (Yuna)
Deiga-san was Anzu's father and ran an inn in Mileela town. He was someone I had used many times in Mileela town.
"Did you hear that Deiga-san is coming from Anzu?" (Yuna)
"No" (Fina)
Fina shook her head.
If Deiga-san were to come, it wouldn't be strange for Anzu to talk to Tilmina-san, and Tilmina-san to Fina.
If Fina didn't know, maybe Tilmina-san didn't know either.
Fina and I approached Deiga-san.
"Deiga-san" (Yuna)
"Wow. What?" (Deiga)
Deiga-san was surprised when I called out to him from behind.
"Bear, huh? What's going on here?" (Deiga)
"That's my line. Why is Deiga-san in Crimonia?" (Yuna)
"I came to check on Anzu." (Deiga)
Well, that was the only reason I could think of for Deiga-san to come to Crimonia.
"I understand the reason, but does Anzu know? I haven't heard anything from Anzu." (Yuna)
She might not have been able to talk to me because I was away from Crimonia recently, but Fina didn't know either.
Anzu would have told Tilmina-san that Deiga-san was coming. If that happened, she would inevitably tell Fina unless she kept her mouth shut.
"No, I haven't informed Anzu." (Deiga)
"Why?" (Yuna)
"She might get in trouble if she knows I'm coming." (Deiga)
"Huh?" (Yuna)
What are you talking about? This muscular guy.
Even the brain might be made of muscle.
A daughter of Anzu's age who respected and loved her father was precious.
This was just what I know from TV and the internet, but I had heard that people around Anzu's age didn't like washing clothes with their fathers, and that when they were at home on holidays, they treated him like a nuisance.
Well, in my father's case, he was rarely at home and did his own laundry. When he was at home, I locked myself in my room.
Maybe my knowledge was just biased.
It might be different from the general public.
However, Anzu loved his father Deiga-san's cooking, and I knew that she enjoyed cooking with him.
There was no way Anzu would be in trouble if Deiga-san wanted to come to Crimonia. I thought he would rather be happy.
"Deiga-san. Anzu respects his father, Deiga-san, and she won't be in trouble if he says he wants to come to Crimonia. Also, if Deiga-san comes, I would have arranged for the shop to be closed."
If he listened to what she had to say, they could make time to be together as much as possible.
"No, I can't cause any trouble to the lady by closing the shop." (Deiga)
"I'm grateful to Anzu, so let me do that." (Yuna)
"Hehe, Anzu is working in a nice place." (Deiga)
I was glad he thought so.
"Then I'll show you to Anzu's restaurant." (Yuna)
"Oh, please." (Deiga)
We started walking toward Anzu's shop.
"It's been a while since I saw Fina."
Deiga-san called out to Fina who is next to me.
"Yes. It's been a while." (Fina)
"How's my daughter Anzu?" (Deiga)
"She's busy cooking every day."
"Customers are coming to her shop."
"Yeah, it's a very popular restaurant."
Deiga-san looked happy at Fina's words.
"If there were no customers, she would have to try again, but it looks like she's okay." (Deiga)
"Speaking of guests, is everything okay at the inn?" (Yuna)
More and more people were coming to Mileela from Crimonia and other cities. The inn must be busy with people coming.
"I've left it to my wife and my son. They can't make as delicious a meal as I do, but it won't be a problem. Also, while I'm here, someone I know will be helping out." (Deiga)
Was his son a fisherman?
However, when he had time, he helped out at the inn.
I guessed it was okay if someone could help.
"But your wife has forgiven you." (Yuna)
"When I was worried about Anzu, she kicked my ass and told me to come check it out." (Deiga)
I see, his wife is strong.
"It's still a lively town with a lot of people." (Deiga)
Deiga-san said while looking around.
But it seemed like that was only recently.
When I first came to Crimonia, probably there were fewer people.
"The number of people in Mileela is also increasing, right?" (Yuna)
"Ah, more and more people are moving into town, and houses are starting to be built in that developed area." (Deiga)
The forest between the tunnel and the town was cleared and inns and shops were built.
Even so, there was still some land left over from the felling, and it seemed that houses were being built on it.
By the way, there was a large bear house built on a prime location in that corner.
There was a straight path to the sandy beach, making it easy to go swimming. Furthermore, there were no other buildings built around my bear house, and the scenery was beautiful.
I had heard that the residents of Mileela were careful not to disturb my house.
It would be a problem if a building were built in front of my house, but I didn't really care if a house was built next door.
"Still, it's strange that I can come to Crimonia so easily." (Deiga)
Thanks to a tunnel called the Bear Tunnel, if you left Crimonia and Mileela before dawn, you could arrive in the evening without any problems.
But it was just before noon now.
"Deiga-san, when are you coming to Crimonia?" (Yuna)
"Yesterday. So, I was staying at an inn and was walking around town before going to Anzu's shop, when a lady called out to me." (Deiga)
"You had a good time staying at the inn." (Yuna)
I heard from Cliff that the number of people who couldn't stay at inns was increasing recently. So we talked about turning that haunted house into an inn.
"Oh, it's okay because I took a boarding carriage to Crimonia." (Deiga)
Apparently, the carriages and the inns were working together to arrange accommodation so that people who arrived in Crimonia would not have any trouble.
However, it was only for one night.
The rest of the procedure was left to the individual.
Well, I thought it was a good system because maybe it would be difficult to find a place to stay after being thrown out to Crimonia when arrived at evening.
"So, where are we staying tonight?" (Yuna)
"I haven't decided yet. I was thinking of staying at the same hotel, but it didn't seem to have any vacancies. So, I was walking around town looking for a place to stay." (Deiga)
"In that case, why don't we stay at Anzu's house?" (Yuna)
"Won't I be hated if I suddenly go?" (Deiga)
The both of them were in good terms, and I don't think Anzu would mind either.
If she said something like, "I don't want my dad staying over," I would just think of another idea.
Besides, there was another young woman living in the shop besides Anzu.
There were empty rooms at the Bear's Relaxing Shop, but it was difficult because Morin-san and others live there.
But at the orphanage, there were some empty rooms, Deiga-san alone could stay there.
Well, worst of all, there was an empty room in Bear House.
"Then I'll introduce you to another place." (Yuna)
"That's helpful." (Deiga)
We came to Anzu's shop.
"The bear has a fish. Did missy make it?" (Deiga)
Large bear figurines were placed on the left and right of the shop's entrance. The bear was holding a fish.
"Anzu and the others asked me to." (Yuna)
I certainly didn't take the initiative to make it.
Deiga-san looked around the shop, hiding behind the bear figurine.
"Uncle Deiga, what are you doing?" (Fina)
Fina questioned Deiga-san's actions.
I wanted to ask this question too, it helped.
"I wonder about the situation at the shop..." (Deiga)
"You should just go inside." (Yuna)
"But..." (Deiga)
Although his body was large, his guts was small.
"Anzu-nee-san also wants to meet Uncle Deiga." (Fina)
Fina also provided cover fire.
Fina and I pulled Deiga-san and enter the shop.
Deiga-san, as expected, didn't try to run away until he shook me and Fina loose.
"Welcome!" (Seno)
Seno-san, who came from Mileela town with Anzu, stopped moving the moment she called out to us as we entered the shop.
"Yuna-chan, Fina-chan. And Uncle Deiga!?"
Forne-san, who was inside the shop, was surprised by Seno-san's words.
"Anzu-chan! Dad, Uncle Deiga is here!"
"Now, Seno-san. There's no way my father will come..." (Anzu)
When Anzu popped her head out from the kitchen in the back, she froze.
"Oh, dad!" (Anzu)
"Yo, I came to check on you." (Deiga)
Parent and child meet for the first time in a while.
