"How is angel-sama doing?" (Older priest)
"Yes, she is calling out to the believers from the balcony in the morning and evening diligently without a break. Recently, the content of her sermons has been well thought out and it has become very popular." (Younger priest)
"I see. I was worried when their friends from Crimson Vow ran away, but I'm glad to hear that everything turned out fine..." (Older priest)
The older priest smiled happily in response to the young priest's answer.
"...So, what about over there?" (Older priest)
"Are you concerned about food and drink? It seems that she has reduced the amount of food, snacks, and fruit juice she consumed, so there should be no risk of her gaining weight..." (Younger priest)
"Oh, that's just too much! When she said she wanted to try all the sweets in not only the whole country, but the surrounding countries, and when she started crying out that she was bored and eating in desperation, we all worried that she would get fat... It seems that she has finally become aware of her role as a servant. That's good..." (Older priest)
The younger priest asked curiously to the happy-looking older priest.
"But what kind of change of heart could have occurred so suddenly? She had always been so lazy about her duties, but now it's as if she has become a completely different person... …Maybe she's been replaced with a fake, or something…" (Younger priest)
"Hahaha! If that's the case, then if the Goddess asks me, 'Was it this lazy angel that you dropped? Or was it this diligent angel?' I'll answer that it was the diligent one!" (Older priest)
"Ha! Miami Satodelle's comic book! H-how disrespectful, aha ha ha!" (Younger priest)
"Wahahaha!" (Older priest)
The priests bursted out in laughter, having seemingly forgotten that the one who wrote Miami Satodelle's humorous book was the angel herself.
…And of course, the nanomachines had not neglected to gather information.
I can't believe that just this much has made me 'hardworking'... Mile-sama, just how lazy do you think you're living...?
"Shall we wait for them here in town?"
"Yes, I agree"
"If we go too far, the members of Crimson Vow won't be able to enjoy their journey on this continent."
The Wonder Trio came to a halt on their journey quite soon after leaving the royal capital.
They thought that Mile and her companions would head for the royal capital from the port town, and they were concerned that if they got too close to the sea, Mile would have less time to enjoy her journey to the new continent with her companions.
As a result, they changed their original plan of heading further towards the sea.
…Then why wasn't they waiting in the royal capital?
This was because Marcella and her group thought that there were people there who knew about them, and that they did not want to cause too much of a commotion in the royal capital, which was to be their base of operations from now on.
Therefore, they wanted to have the meeting take place in a town other than the royal capital, to explain the position of the Wonder Trio and Princess Morena in the royal capital, and to work out various details.
"Well then, while we wait for everyone from Crimson Vow to arrive, let's register as a hunter and begin our activities as new hunters on this continent. Also, there are many things I need to do, such as checking the situation with monsters in the area and seeing if there are any changes in the strength of magic. Since magic is activated by magic spirits, if you change continents, a different spirit will be in charge, and this can cause changes to the strength, speed, and precision of the magic. It's important to research this thoroughly beforehand so that even the slightest difference doesn't become fatal." (Marcella)
"Yes!" (Other 2)
As expected from Marcella.
Perhaps Aureana would have suggested it if Marcella hadn't brought it up, but even so, as a leader, she didn't overlook the important points.
They've got it all together...
It's a little disappointing that they didn't make stupid mistakes like Mile and her group, but it's still enjoyable as it shows young, inferior creatures trying desperately to rack their brains.
I guess so... Either way, Wonder Trio and Crimson Vow are in a safe position as the two main pillars of Nano Network audience ratings.
No objections, the nanomachines sent out signal waves of agreement...
Kriring
The soft sound of the doorbell rang as the three girls entered the Hunter Guild branch.
Judging from their height and facial features, they were clearly minors.
If there was only one, it's possible that they were orphans and malnourished, which was why they were so tall, but all three of them together was a bit hard to imagine.
…And on top of that, all of them were wearing relatively high-quality clothing and partial armor, and were even equipped with daggers and staves.
With this, there's no way they'd be short on money.
Naturally, the sound of the doorbell as the girls entered caused the eyes of the guild staff and hunters to all turn towards the entrance.
And just like always, their gazes were quickly averted… but instead, everyone's eyes were following the girls' movements.
The reason no one moved was that even though the girls were underage, they were wearing sturdy clothing that looked familiar and were fairly well equipped, so it seemed they were not complete novices, and perhaps they had decided that they were not to be subjected to the rite of passage (or teasing) given to beginners...
However, what was going through the minds of the Hunters present?
Although they were young, the trio were all good looking.
And they all seem to be magicians.
The thing the Hunter Party was most lacking was a magician.
Substitute of a water bottle. Substitute of a fire starter. Substitute of a healing potion. Substitute of archers.
Anyway, it's very useful to have one in each party.
It is a wild card that dramatically increased the party's survival rate.
...There were three of them.
Moreover, cute.
Whether they were thinking evil thoughts or not, their thoughts were the same.
……I want her!! (Everyone's mind)
However, even though it's impossible that they hadn't been approached by someone before, they were still just three girls.
And so far, they had managed to survive safely, against both monsters and humans alike.
...It's dangerous to speak out without thinking and carelessly.
Thinking this, everyone watched in silence as the three girls walked briskly up to the reception desk...
"We would like to register as a new Hunter." (Marcella)
Crash!
Clatter, clatter, clatter, clatter!!
Most of the Hunters instinctively stood up.
And then they looked at each other.
...not yet! It's too early... (Everyone's mind)
That's right. If they registered now, they were still a regular citizen.
If a tough-looking hunter were to approach an underage girl who was a member of the general public, an incident could occur.
If you even laid a finger on the someone's body or screamed, it would become a big deal.
If they did poorly, they would lose their hunter licenses and be sent to the mines as criminal slaves for several years.
However, once you had registered as a hunter, they could explain that you were a fellow hunter and that they were only trying to invite you to join their party, and they would be more than happy to overlook some of the issues.
Or rather, since that was the truth, they could proudly claim it, and since it was common knowledge in the industry that every party wanted a magician, they had no need to worry about being suspected.
They had to be patient here.
The hunters then fired their guns at each other to keep each other in check.
The girls quickly filled out the application forms they received, then handed them to the receptionist, casually asking questions.
"Um, here, if a woman is harassed, coerced, threatened, or disrespected by other Hunters, and she kills them in self-defense or out of disrespect, is that a crime?"
The receptionist and staff frozen.
And…….
Whaaaaaaaaat?! (Everyone's mind)
Don't touch, it's dangerous.
This was the way of getting along that the Wonder Trio had acquired after having been entangled in many different situations and going through a lot of hardship up until now.
It was a light jab, a preemptive strike.
