One year ago today, the first volume of the novel was released, so I updated it to commemorate that.
Green was an adventurer I met before joining the Knight Order.
That being said, "Green" is a pseudonym, and I'm sure he has a different real name...
Thinking about this, I recalled with nostalgia the time I first met Green and his brothers.
—— More than six months ago, I was attacked and nearly killed by the black dragon Zavilia during the Coming of Age Ceremony, but I regained my memories of my previous life.
In my previous life I was a great saint, but in this life I was found to have no healing magic whatsoever in the saint tests she took at the ages of three and ten. Even though I had the memories of the Great Saint, I wondered just how much power of my past life I could use— and in the three months leading up to taking the Knights' exam, I cast various healing spells on myself, testing out the Saint's powers.
However, I realized that it would be difficult to confirm the recovery of injuries and abnormal conditions without a test subject, so I had the idea of trying to use recovery magic by adventuring with an adventurer who was likely to get injured. Then, the three of them, Green and his brothers, appeared before me.
When the three brothers introduced themselves, they gave fake names based on their hair colors—the eldest brother was "Red," the second brother was "Green," and the third brother was "Blue." When they first met, Red and Green looked extremely suspicious with blood coming out of their faces, so it was only natural that they gave fake names as precaution.
The details were left vague so it's hard to understand, but it seemed that Green and his brothers were from Arteaga, a huge empire that divided the power of the continent with Nav Kingdom. Red was the eldest son and should have inherited the family business, but he had been cursed from birth with the ability to bleed from his face, and it was explained that for this reason his half-brother would inherit the position. However, a fortune teller had told them that the curse would be lifted if they defeated a certain monster that only lived in Nav Kingdom, so the three brothers had traveled all the way there to defeat the monster.
As I accompanied them, I realized that these three brothers were truly strong. And as a result, the monster was successfully defeated. However, the curse could not be lifted automatically, so I offered my assistance and used the power of the Saint to lift it.
Of course, being the cautious person that I was, I thought it would be no good to recognize someone I had never meet again as a saint, so I set up a natural setting of curse against curse. In other words, I explained that I myself was under a curse that said, "If I don't help adventurers with my powers as a saint, I will be left behind," and that, "Thanks to the curse, I can use the powers of a saint even though I'm not a saint." When I did that, all three of them readily believed me, so I thought these three people were incredibly trusting.
However, looking back now, I didn't fully understand how Saints were weakened at the time, so I might have used a bit too much power. Thinking that I wouldn't be suspicious if I used the power of an average saint, I had intended to use less power, but — I had cast physical strengthening magic on the three brothers, cast attribute weakening magic on the monsters, regenerated physical defects, and cured the abnormal conditions that had been present since birth. ...Ah, thinking back, I'm starting to feel like I've gone too far.
Well, but that was over six months ago, and I feel like I can let it slide with a simple, "I was cursed too, so it's the power of the curse!", so yes, I'm sure, probably, it'll be okay.
Thinking this, I looked up at Green and saw a large man with beautiful green hair, true to his fake name, standing there just as he had been when we had last parted ways.
His expression was brighter than the last time they had broken up, which seemed to tell us that the six months they had been apart had been meaningful for Green. Seeing that expression made me happy and I smiled.
Due to being cursed, Red could not take over the family business despite being the eldest son, and the three brothers were treated poorly by their family. However, Green and his brothers defeated the monster, lifted the curse, and returned to their country. I was hoping that this would improve Green's situation and their environment at home even a little, but—I thought Green's bright expression was a sign that their current life was good. At the very least, they must be living a fulfilling life, able to have a bright and cheerful expression on their face.
Thinking this, I thought of Green in front of me, and Red and Blue who were not there, and congratulated them in my heart.
As I thought back on each of our previous adventures, it felt so precious to be able to meet Green again in good health. Perhaps because of this, even though we had only been adventuring together for five days, and it had only been six months since we last met, I was overcome with a sense of nostalgia and joy, as if I was meeting an old friend.
Still filled with joy, I ran up to Green and hugged him tightly.
"Green!" (Fia)
However, for some reason, the large man who had previously knocked the three large men to the ground without moving let out a loud "Ahhh!" and fell backwards.
"Huh? Green?" (Fia)
No, no matter how much of a running start I had, it would be unnatural for me to fall to the ground just by being hit by someone of my size. As I tilted my head thinking that, Green thrusted both hands forward in front of me, his face bright red.
"Fia, you still have that wicked personality! Why would you hug someone you're not even married to? That's totally obscene!" (Green)
"Really? That's an exaggeration." (Fia)
I grimaced at the complete false accusation, but then I remembered, "Yes, that's right!" That's right, Red and Green had been bleeding from the face for 20 or 30 years since they were born, so people were scared of them and avoided them, and they said they had never even spoken to women. Maybe that's why, no matter what I said, those big men would immediately blush and get embarrassed.
However—
"That's right, Green, you were a really good-looking guy, weren't you. I was so overwhelmed by the bloody image that I forgot how good looking you were." (Fia)
Looking at Green from the front again, I let out my honest opinion. Then, Green jumped back about one meter while sitting on the ground. I thought he was very skillful.
"Eeek! What the hell are you saying to my face? Are you trying to kill me?" (Green)
"Huh? It's not that. It's been about six months since we broke up, and now that the bleeding has stopped and you're looking good, women have been flocking to you, so I thought you might have gotten used to women a little, you know." (Fia)
"Sorry! I said the reason I was unpopular was because my face was bleeding, but that's not true! It was purely a matter of my attractiveness. As proof of that, the other day I invited a lot of women over for dinner, but not a single person spoke to me from start to finish, showing just how unpopular I was!!" (Green)
"Well, you all have no eye for it. Green is so lovely." (Fia)
Muttering this in genuine wonder, Green dropped the upper half of his body and collapsed completely to the ground.
"Gugh, I can't do this! If I keep going at this pace from the start, it'll only be a matter of time before I die..." (Green)
But even so, his hair was shining a beautiful, sparkling green, his well-trained physique was visible even through her clothes, and he looked surprisingly attractive. Looking at Green, I tilted my head in confusion.
Green was undoubtedly good-looking, and if you spent a little time with him, it was immediately obvious that he was considerate, kind, and strong, so what's wrong with him? He said his country was the Empire, but I was wondering if women in the Empire didn't like men with a bold personality like Green, when Captain Clarissa behind me muttered in a low voice.
"...In social situations, only those of a higher rank can speak to him first. In other words, does this 'Green' person have such a high status that none of the many women present can speak to him?" (Clarissa)
"Captain Clarissa, I'm sorry. I didn't hear you very well?" (Fia)
Unable to pick up on Captain Clarissa's low muttered words, I asked her to repeat them, but instead of replying, the captain asked me a question with a serious expression.
"Say, Fia-chan? Who is this?" (Clarissa)
"Huh? He's an adventurer. This was before I became a knight, but we went on an adventure together in the monster forest for a few days." (Fia)
As I answered, I remembered that Green and his brothers had said they didn't want it to be known that they were Imperial citizens, so I decided to keep quiet about their origins.
Or rather, I belatedly realized that I hadn't heard anything about what the Empire was doing, and I tilted my head in confusion. From what he had explained to me before, I didn't get the impression that he was an adventurer in the Empire, so I figured that maybe he had a different job there, but he didn't mention what his specific job was, so I didn't know the answer.
Thinking this, I looked at Captain Clarissa in a troubled expression, and her lips twisted slightly.
"...I see, even Fia-chan doesn't know. But for him to be guarded by hundreds of knights skilled at hiding their presence, to the point that I was slow to notice... he must be a rare person of such high rank." (Clarissa)
She was muttering something under his breath, so I called out her name without thinking, and a familiar voice called out to me from behind.
"Fia!!"
"Huh?" (Fia)
Hearing a familiar voice, I thought it couldn't be that, and turned around to see Green's younger brother, Blue, standing there. With flowing blue hair more beautiful than jewels, this rare beauty gazed out at me with a broad smile.
"Fia! My goodness, I can actually meet you!!" (Blue)
Blue cried out as if overcome with emotion, and ran straight over to me.
Just like when I met Green, I felt incredibly happy and opened my arms to hug him, screaming "Blue!", but he jumped back, screaming "Aaaah!"
"Fia! I heard you're an adult! You shouldn't just touch a man!" (Blue)
As if to embody his name, this beautiful man with beautiful, endless blue hair and incredibly well-featured features spoke in an unusually formal manner.
"...Hehe." (Fia)
Seeing the brothers as they always were, I couldn't help but burst out laughing.

I've received a lot of comments about the web version and the book version, so I'd like to explain a little bit.
In the case of this work, when the book version was published, 20 to 30 percent of the content was added to make it "more enjoyable for readers."
I feel like it's more fun than the web version, so I try to incorporate new things into the web version if possible, so that more people can enjoy it. That's the case with "Green" this time.
So, when we decide to turn it into a web version, we will structure it so that it blends in seamlessly (at least that's what I will be writing it with), and I would be happy if you could take your time to enjoy it.
As for Curtis, I think it was only after he had appeared a while ago that we found out who he was.
